I understand where you're coming from. Its really a joke that these days you have to be a toothpick in order to be "pretty" or fit into a decent pair of jeans. Its pathetic. And I thinks its a load of sh*t. All these girls think that they're so special just because they're that size. When really they're like every other girl. Walking around pushing everyone around because they're a size 2. You cant let people get to you. I bet you are a really beautiful girl. And like I said all those other girls look alike and act alike too. Just be happy because you are different, and truthfully pretty, because you dont wear size 2, and you dont layer make up on every hour...Dont let it get to you. Ok...I got that out of my system. To answer your question...yes.= ]]

1st off----YOU ARE NOT A PLUS SIZED WOMAN if you are a 7 or 9! Even a 10, 12, 14, & i think 16 is not a plus. Plus I think is 18 & up. So 1st start thinking that you are a GREAT size & GREAT woman! Do not let others judge you! & I know a lot of people, & not many are a 0-5, actually none i dont think, maybe a couple 5's, mostly, some, 7's, 9's, 12's, even an 18!--they are all my friends & i think of them all the same--not about their sizes! There are plenty of stores out there. As you get larger it gets limited, but you will find somewhere that treats you kindly--thatll b your shop!

Honey, you are not a plus sized women. I think it is disgusting that a clothing store can carry only small sizes like that. There are women who are naturally that thin but most women have to starve themselves to be "beautiful in the eyes of sociaty". Dont be discouraged by the fashon industry. They tell you what you should look like not what women really do. Keep in mind that the pictures in all the top mags. and catalogs are all airbrushed so that the women look perfect. I could sit here all day long and give you a million reasons why the industry stinks but its not worth my time and it just makes my blood boil. Get on with it, buy jeans somewhere else and stop saying that you are plus sized you are a s-m in the relm of real women. Get out there and show em' what a real woman is made of!

Size 7-9 is not plus sized. Plus sized is considered a Women's 14 and up. Most stores do carry sizes 7-9, or 6-8 as you might be in Women's sizes, which is small, or medium at the largest. Maybe you should consider trying a different store, and maybe look in different departments. Try Juniors or Misses departments. Some have different styles that are all cute.

That's SICK that the store only carried those sizes. I'm really tired of this trend of dangerously thiin.

I, personally, am very health conscience. I always watch my calorie intake, I eat a lot of soy products, no red meat, drink green tea for anti-oxidants, etc. I also workout four to five times a week. But I'm a size 6 or 8. And this is considered "curvy" even in mainstream stores like Old Navy.

I find that shopping at stores like NY & Company and The Limited really helps because they seem to have a better idea of what a woman's body is. I don't even bother with most stores anymore because I get so frustrated with their sizes.

I completely agree with you about designers going larger, but unfortunately no one designer wants to step outside the box and be ridiculed as the first designer to do so, even though they could double their sales by doing so. You are NOT, and let me repeat, NOT a plus size! I wear a size 22, and while I am working on losing weight, I am certainly not discouraged by the size 2 women out there. I find clothes that flatter my curves and that I am comfortable in. Like my husband says....meat is for man, bones are for dogs! :-)

Hang on there - you can't be a Plus Size until you're about a women's 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 and are sampling the IX, 2X and 3X sizes. The 7s and 9s are Juniors or Petites.
Or are you talking about one leg?

this is a curent debate going on in the world of fashion. it is true that plus size women cannot find as many clothes as normal to skinny women. there are a number of designer brands however that do make clothes for sizes like yours. alexander mcqueen for example or even armani and vivienne westwood. You should understand thow that couture clothing has a certain style and line that proably could not work for plus sized bodies, it would simply not look good on them. designers are planning to make bigger sizes but this wont be helpfull. what is important is to look good. you simply wont look good wearing clothes that are designed for skinny women. you should find your own style. what is important for me is accessorizing. clothes are the base or your apereance and do not have to be extremly expensive or even designer ones. instead spend money on accessories that dont involve sizes. A nice pair or jimmy choo and a trendy chloe bag will make u loo fabulous.xx

**** those shopkeepers. If they had any brains for business they'd be selling the sizes that real people wear. The size 0 customer probably is too weak and feeble to drag herself into the shop.

It's a shame that all these boutiques and stores are losing out on lots of money from not selling average size clothes.
