The only problem I see with this is the multiple birth problem. Too often in these multiple births (more than triplets) none of the babies is healthy and there are lifelong disabilities and costs to the offspring.

I see it as unethical if the parents won't allow selective abortion after implantation to insure no more than 2 or possibly 3 of the embryos continue to develop.

The only ethical implication is that they insert several fertilized eggs and hope that one takes. The problem many people see with this is that a fertilized egg is already considered a human being in growth and that many potential babies die in the process.
