I'm 21 and my friend is 19 and is going to use a fake ID, if she gets caught what can happen? Can I get into any trouble because I'm 21? I heard that the bar might take the ID, but I just wonder what else can happen. Thanks for your help!

The bar can call the cops or choose not to and just take the ID away. People on here who said you'll go to jail too are full of it. If the cops are called your friend probably won't even go to jail. She'll get charged with using the fake ID and charges for drinking (minor in consumption) if she drank.

If she gets caught they will kick her out of the bar and take the ID- if they ask you just say I thought she was 21 and you will not get into trouble but she will if she gets caught- If you want to drink with her go someplace safe and do it there

Depends on the barkeeper. They will confiscate the fake ID and if the person behind the bar is in a good mood they may only kick you out. Otherwise you both could get in trouble if they drop a dime on her.

You are committing a crime by escorting a minor into a bar. The minor, using the fake ID is also committing a crime. In Florida you both go to jail.

It would be much easier to get in her pants if you just brought a bottle home. Then just you go to jail.

They usually just take it and chuck it, or cut it up, but if she gets caught she won't get it back.If they're real a**holes, they could call the cops, as it's a felony to possess false identification.
I don't see how you'd get in trouble, you could say you had no idea. Even if she gets in a gets a drink, it's the bar's responsibility not to serve underage people.

If she gets caught, she will be turned away at the door. If the bar gets caught serving alcohol to a minor, they will be fined big time. Take her out somewhere else. Don't be stupid.

They confiscate the fake ID and a ticket can be issued if the police are called.

Most likely, the will just keep your ID and kick you out. You won't go to jail (unless you wait around IF they do indeed call the cops).

The Bar manager might call the news media, Oh sorry that only
happens, if you are related to the President.

they probably will throw her out of the bar, take the ID, and possibly get the police involved depending on how strict the bar is.
