A coupple of my friends and I think the need to end the Final Fantasy Series. I mean look FF 1-9 were Fantastic the all somehow had something to do with each other.FF10 was ok. It had nothing to do with the rest but we liked the story line. But FF X-2 and the rest suck. They have nothing to do with each other the story line is weak. tell us what you think.

Whoa.....you might have hit rock bottom......Not to be rude, but if you don't like it...stop playing it. but you do make an honest question, they are getting further and further away from the storyline plot, but it's the work of art that draws me to it, the extensive graphics, characters...people shape their lives around Final Fantasy, and it's not just the game, it's the music as well. Though it may be so hyped up, it's just an escape for some....games are getting bloodier and more focused on violence, that a good down to earth war is sometimes needed. (Final Fantasy XII) Final Fantasy could well be in our future, everything is pretty plausible. Good question man, you should ask more on this subject.

way off, ff 1-9 story lines are completely different the main plot may be the same but then you would have to include ffX and ffXII into this then because they also have the basic plot of a group of people meet through weird circumstances and then go out to save the world, but in ff12 they left out the romance almost entirely which isn't a bad thing the new fighting system was pretty awesome once you got used to the changes and overall it was probably one of the best ff there are. I never played ffX-2 because people told me it sucked but ffX was a great game besides the some of the stupid side quests to get the ultimate weapons. I think that you should rethink whether you are a fan of ff or just of turn-based rpgs. because I believe that square has taking a turn for the better and they should keep up the good work.

What do you mean Final fantasy 1-9 had something to do with each other? Every Final Fantasy (except the tragedy that is FFX-2) all have unique Story lines that are all different form one another. In that light I am going to disagree that they should not stop with Final Fantasy games. They are the definitive Role Playing Games (not to say that there have not been equally good ones in the history of video games... Legend of Legia) I do think however they should stop with this whole spin-off thing they are doing.

Here's an idea, if you don't like it anymore, then don't play it because most of us still like Final Fantasy. So what if FFx-2 and the rest sucked. It's a stumble block. Their will be a good one.
