1. write a book: it could be a comical satire to the hardships people learning a language not their own have to face. you can plan out metaphors, character personalities, character description, character history, etc.
2. write a comic book. draw out the characters on separate sheets of paper with their personalities, looks, powers, etc.
3. plan out what you would do to your house/property if you could remodel it.
4. could you perhaps get a small animal like a hamster, or a rabbit? both are very good pets. if you get the rabbit as a baby, they can be very friendly, and are easy to clean up after. hamsters are the same. their food is also inexpensive.

How about going to college and doing some sort of course that will help you get a better job in the future, you could do a language course too to help you, how you can't get a job because of language barriers is beyond me as your written English is excellent, if your a Brit abroad then how about teaching English to people, there is always a call for that, good luck and hope you find something soon.

well done for learning the language. i understand it is difficult to find a job without basic command of English.I do respect folk that come from abroad and find work here as i know it is a big upheaval and culture shock. I work with many Africans that have done this.
Could you not do some free lance gardening or something whilst learning the language or perhaps get some shop work part-time.
If you live in the country go for long walks. Take up painting, do a bit of decorating or do your garden?

What language are you learning. Your English seems pretty good to me as your grammar and phrasing of the question is well put. I honestly think you are just lazy, if in fact this is a true question, so just go and get a job and stop wasting other peoples time!!

could do a course , it saves you alot of time and learning at the same time, so when it comes down to a job you have some qualifications, also you could do volntary work , which shows employers that you , are interested in work ,as when you had no job you are still working , also if you can't find a job, still do something useful in your time, don't be sad as this has happend to me , and alot of other people, enjoy youself have fun too, and also think about improving youself employerablly

How about online learning - if you are in the UK look at the learndirect website. Otherwise how about volunteering somewhere for a local charity? You have the use of a company so can access the internet to search out stuff.

Rubix Cubes, Sudoku, Yahoo Answers......
All fun for the time challanged! :)
by the way it doesn't seem like you have problems with the language - so basically there are loads of jobs you could do, even if you haven't a word of English most hotels would hire you....

Why not try a games console if you can afford one? Second hand maybe? eBay's a good place to try. It'll keep you occupied for hours!
