I think Edmond's has got sleazier on this show, but it could also be because he has to stretch out a game show that should take less than 10 mins to 45. Maybe all the delaying tactics make him look sleazy.
I am not taken by Deal or No Deal, the only aspect of the game that has any skill is being brave enough to stick or deal. Everything else is pure luck.

I was about to say, "Who the heck are Noel Edmunds and Bob Monkhouse?", until I read the other answers and realized that the show you are asking about is airing in the UK.
In the US, the same show airs but with Howie Mandell as the host. He's not sleazy at all, just a little weird since he discontinued his comedy routines.

BoB Monkhouse is dead and he was the biggest sleaze going he made my skin crawl.... smarmy bloke.
Noel Edmonds needs a new image. If got rid of the awful clothes and that hair style then perhaps he will not look like someone from the flashing raincoat brigade.
But hey who am I to criticise, am no oil painting!

Noel Edmond's is a **** in my eyes, i cant watch it anymore because of him. I think Michael Barrymore would be ideal to present the show ;)

Sometimes he makes me cringe, he says such over the top things. Bob Monkhouse died about 2 years ago. I think Vernon Kaye might be a good host for DOND

Well-----poor old Bob Monkhouse it no longer with us! so if you really have to watch the boringly simple show, it's got to be Noel I'm afraid.

The show is good, Noel Edmunds is wierd unfortunately Bob Monkehouse is dead otherwise he would have been great instead

Sadly Bob Monkhouse died a few years ago.
Noel isn't so bad, and at least he doesn't go "hur hur you've got 10 thousand pounds but we don't want to give you that!"
