i want to hook it up to be online.how? do i leave the computer hooked up to the modem or do i disconnect,also can i use a usb cable to hook it up.. also if i use a usb cable can i still have the computer hooked up. and how does the xbox 360 wireless adapter hook up and is it dependable. help me with this setup. I DO HAVE HIGH SPEED INTERNET.

ok, this is not an easy thing to do ( getting on xbox live is easy but if you want to hook up media center, its a pain in the a**) first of all
you can use your dsl modem and bypass the PC which is the easiest way to do it, and if you do that all your gonna have to do is disconnect the modem from the pc and plug the ethernet cable into the xbox. give it a few mins. to connect and you should be good to go. if you want to go through your PC and then to you xbox, you will have to buy a DSL router hook the DSL modem into the router then install the program that came with the Dsl router. make sure you have a connection to the internet and everthing is working right with your internet service, if so then take your ethernet that came with your xbox and hook it up to one of the extra ports on the router, and that should do it, if you have the wireless adapter for the xbox you will have to the same as above and the also buy a wireless adapter for you PC as well....go to www.xbox.com/pcsetup and that should answer most of your questions too. also you have to open certain firewall ports to use media center, which are all on the xbox.com page.....good luck and if you need any further assistance contact me at bshelby22@hotmail.com
