I am an 80's person so I enjoyed Stryper. They were one of the original Christian Rock Bands. They put the "rock" in Christian Rock. Check out a christian rock website for more help.

dc talk is one. Also, in their later material, the guys in the old 70s / 80s band Kansas wrote toward Christian themes. An 80s metal band called Stryper claimed to be Christians but then later admitted they weren't.

For hard rock, Red is pretty good. Also try Flyleaf and Emery, even though Emery is more screamo than anything.

i could like to work out even those plastic rockers attempt to hold close with the likes of Tourniquet's licks or their drummer or Mortification's Drummer or Rex Carroll of White flow. no one could desire to hold close with yingve malmstien (Sp) Or the time changing Believer. surely however they have been on the sub end of Christian track. the perfect that they had do is Michael W. or White heart or perhaps Petra.

I don't think they're very hard-rock, - more pop-rock actually, but Relient K has singable, often clever lyrics and hooky, melodic guitars. You might enjoy them.

Newsboys, Third Day, Casting Crowns ... maybe not hard rock, but Christian rock. MercyMe is doing more rock now; check them out.
