i think it's very unlikely but it does happen to some people. Then they are on TV as...it's so unlikely.

Well first I can only assume you mean an interracial couple that has one white partner and one black partner? (You should be more specific since interracial couples can be a combination of any race.) I can't really say how likely it is if you are looking for probability. However I can say that it is possible and I have heard of at least two cases where this has happened, there was a highly publicized family where this happened just a few months ago, and the children were twins. I can also say that when it comes to biracial, mulit-racial children it can be difficult to say 100% what the child will 'look like' because of the way genes work (recessive and dominant). Many people assume that because a child has one black parent, for example, that those genes will be dominant but that is not always the case. I know of a family which consists of a black father and white mother and all of the children are fair with blonde hair. I also know of a family with biracial children that have light eyes and sandy hair with a medium complexion. It's hard to say. However I can say that regardless of the combination of races, or complexion, biracial children are usually more beautiful than most.

Highly unlikely, regardless of how many people say they know of it happening. Human skin color is controlled by many genes, up to 15 i believe and for all of them to be selceted from one parent over the other would very, very, rarely happen. If a child is on the lighter or darker side of things, its because they may have gotten genes that expressed a lighter color from the darker parent or vice versa. African Americans especially have alot of light color genes in their genome. Besides race is based on more than just color, i have friends from the indian subcontient way darker than me, and they are not confused for a person of african descent.

Depends on what genes are more dominant in the chromosomes offered by the parents. But, knowing that black is more dominant, the baby will more likely be dark rather than light.

Seeing that you are in this area, I will say that darker skin is more original than lighter. And this is coming from me a whiter than snow honkey.

On the surface, the answer to that question would be left to the observers interpretation of what is 'white' and what is 'dark'; the DNA of such children would much less easier to separate into these two categories...

Well- it did happen to a young couple I know, on their third, the family were taking bets on it's colour as they had one pale skinned and one dark skinned, they are all great kids, and I like them a lot.

very likely.... the line of genes has no picks or quirks about color... My momma is white... daddy is black.. I am high-yella, my sisters are brown skinned, 1 of my brother is light-skinned, the other is black as coal like daddy... So.... yeah.... its possible.

i have heard of inter-racial couples having twins and one is white... blonde hair blue eyes... the other is black, brown hair and eyes...

for me it depends in the girl. Like I might observe a girl with black hair and think she is totally hot but see a girl with blond hair that is meh and vice versa.

If they're fraternal, the possibilities are endless. It's likely in that case. Identical, hardly.
