People react to things differently. Maybe what happened between you and your friend affected him differently. Did you try talking to him. Talk to him, find out how he really feels about what happened between you guys. And if he infact is still hurt by what happened, apologize. Regardless of what it was about, or whos fault it was. It's in the past, and if your friendship with this person in important, than who is at fault is not important. All's you can do is make an effort to reconsile with him. After that the ball is in his court.

Oh you poor thing! IT sounds like you really need to this sorted - and like you miss your mate loads!
What ever the issue is, I'm sure that it will need to be talked over. Serious talks ain't much fun, but you know- they do work!
Your friend may wanna make up too, so make the first move and invite him out to a neutral place like a local pub (with or without others, although it may be good to have some support there) and just tell the truth.
You've obviously missed his friendship, so tell him and I'm sure the issue can be resolved from there. If it cant, then he's not worth having as a mate- and you can do better without him.
GOOD LUCK

With out knowing the issue it's kinda tough to say. Just stop by and say sorry, doesn't matter if its your fault or not. Just an apology can do wonders

Call or email him and ask him how he doing, see if he wants to get together and talk. Let him know that you want to be friends again, but he needs to respect you as well as you respecting him. Just take it slow and make sure that he does not take advantage of you.

i have had a friend for 22 years, we have often had bust ups, the worst was last year, he keot hanging up on me, i gave him the space he obviosly needed after writing a letter saying how i valued his friendship, and that i was sorry, in time he was ok, and came to my wedding, in time issues with friends often resolve themselves
