Lucille Ball. She could make anything - any situation - funny.
Of course, the older ones like Bob Hope, Jack Benny, Bob Newhart, Carol Burnett. David Letterman is a comic genius. He can find humor in anything. I also like Martin Short as Jiminy Glick.
Today's comics can't be funny unless they use swear words. Guess they think that's more funny. Not.

In terms of the past century, I think Bob Hope might be the most popular.
For me, Bill Murray is the funniest guy ever. I find others funny, but he's the only one who consistently gets me laughing.
