Yamaha dealer here has a 1997 1100 vargo 11000 miles is 3500$ to much for a 10 year old bike, thats half what it coust new ?

Do you mean 'Virago'? If so, not the best motorcycle Yamaha made. I own a dealership and we refuse to work on them (to many Problems). Check your local Yamaha dealership to see if they will work on it, some shops have a 10 yr limit.

First was that bike a special or not? Then the retail is $3105.00 to $3180.00 with no extras. so if the bike has bags, sissy bar or other items of extras it is not a great deal but a good one.

if its in very good shape and you want it and have the money...i would get it..Age really doesnt matter,,if you didnt know what year would you get it..
