This could be a tough pick. I give the slight edge to the Yankees. The Mets have some major questions about their starting rotation. Their bullpen also has a few question marks, however they have a star-studded young lineup with hitters like David Wright and Jose Reyes. However, I give the Yankees the edge for a few reasons. Although the Yankees starting rotation has been a question, their bullpen knows how to get the job done. And their lineup is just as lethal as the Mets lineup with guys like ARod and Jeter. Don't sleep on the Mets though.

The Mets, weaker divison and league, excellent offense, enough talent otherwise to get the job done. Could the Phillies and their fans for once put up or shutup. It is ridiculous to suggest after the Mets did so much better than anyone else in the division last year and came extremely close to making the World Series that they are not the team to beat in their division.

The Yankees. They have the better pitching staff. The Mets are going to have to bank on a few young guys to stable out the rotation. Both offenses are equally dangerous. Should be fun.

The mets because the national league is weaker and they have a better offense. They do not have to play the red sox, blue jays, and orioles 20 times each
