Hello everybody!! What is usual expat accommodation in working camps for trades (equipment operators, welders,
electricians, mechanics, drivers, etc) in construction, civil engineering, mining, oil gas companies? I read a lot
about very poor life conditions in some labour camps in some countries, I hope it's not everywhere like that. What
is your experience? I know that high educated expats has a good accommodation, but can anyone give me some
information about expat lifestyle for above mentioned occupations (trades)? I am Qualified Heavy Equipment Operator
(11 years exp.) and what should I expact in usual expatriate employment package and accommodation for my occupation.
I know it vary from country to country and from company to company... please tell me your experience from any part
of the world: Middle East, Africa, Eu, Australia, Asia, Russia, Canada, Usa.....

ive been in a lot of fleabag hotels, and sketchy dormitories with cafeteria food. I suggest you dont take anything with you that you dont mind losing, get your shots, and have your money direct deposited to you bank. Of course, some companies are better than others, and some countries are too, and some industries are too. Just remember that you arent going to be coming home to the strife and troubles everyday at five. that should make anything worth it, haha.
