Okay, so much for the corny humor. I'm a Team Leader at Delphi Brookhaven, and I really must say we have the greatest people in the world working with us.
They make my job an absolute joy, and I felt so great this morning (I work the midnight shift) that I couldn't resist trying to pass along a smile or two to the readers out there.
Have a wonderful day, everybody -- and if things aren't just peachy for you right now, don't give up: it took me a long time to find my happy place -- a place where I am challenged, and trusty people make sure I have the resources to meet my challenges.
The pay is low right now, and there aren't any benefits, but our morale is high and we are hopeful. Oops! I got distracted by my happiness.
Anyway, the answer you're looking for, I think, is that Douglas Engelbart invented the computer mouse (actually, he co-invented it with Bill English). Or you might be refering to hypertext, but that's a little over most folks' heads.
If you pick knits, you could argue that he is among the founders of the modern Internet (or, more accurately, ARPANET).
