It is never too late to express sympathy for her loss. If you are really close, give her a hug and let her know that you are there for her if she ever needs to talk. Even sending a card to her family and expressing your sympathy is ok.

It is never to late. Offer your condolences first opportunity along with a hug, she will appreciate it...the saying is so true," Better late than Never."

On any death, just go up to the person and give your condolences.

Maybe you can give her a hug and well whenever she needs you just be there for her, basically just show her that you are there and maybe you can give her a little something, for example my grandpa loved horses and when he passed away my friend had the same problem as you did and well he bought me a little horse pendant and told me that I could wear it close to my heart so I could remember my grampa.

You could send or give her a card, or a mass card, or donate a small amount to a charity in his name. Its never too late to say you are sorry for someones loss.

give her a hug and ask her if she is ok, and send her a funny card mentioning that you were worried about her, she will understand.
