Who has been your mentor? Many young lives are without and their opinions are scary?

Has anyone touched your life in a way to effect a change of direction or open your mind to the possibilities. Please share that we all can benefit

I am older, but can't say I actually had a mentor. I had my older sister and brother to look up to growing up, thank goodness they were both the types that had a good head on their shoulders, these two are the ones who had the most impact on my life as to what I might decide to do with it. But I never had someone that I followed in their footsteps or had actual guidance from. Usually I am the type who directs people, tells them to get an education, and follow thier goals. Don't settle for less. Where I learned that was through trial and error on my own part. But my sister and brother laid a good foundation for me to follow.
