Isn't is awesome the way God made it so robust and impervious to man's CO2 emissions? Though I hear nukes are bad for it, so maybe we should be a little more concerned about our open borders than whether or not my desk lamp has an incandescent bulb, yes?

The global warming people want the general population and the government to think that anyone that doesn't buy in to their religion is anti-environment, which is a false premise but one that may result in the government "protecting" us from yet another socialist/communist created problem that also "somehow" has the "unintended" consequence of strangling our free market.

I agree that short of a global nuclear catastrophe, there is little that "man" can do that makes much of a difference either way regarding global warming.

It's time to squash the Al Gore lie machine. After that report on his house came out, his press secretary announced that Al Gore participates in the TN Green Power Switch and was installing solar panels. Both are supicious. Why is he just now installing solar panels on this house? Also the Tennessee program to convert over to green electricity is not on-line or is in limited capacity. No one in Tennessee can purchase or switch to this green electricity. One buys a kilowatt block of electricity at $4.50 each and then TVA uses that money to fund windmills that will go on the grid and is distributed through out the state evenly. There is no way that Al Gore can be getting this electricity all to himself.
Not to mention that 5 months ago the papers here in Tennessee said that more money was coming in for these windmills than they could ever build them, mostly because of the lack of skilled contractors.

Any light that is left on all the time should be a compact fluorescent . It uses less energy. Turning the compact fluorescent on and off frequently shortens life of the bulb which has mercury in it and will eventually become our disposal problem.

Incandescent bulbs should be user and places where they are frequently turned on and off.

All it seems algore is a whore. I made a poem!

I couldn't care less right now about what kind of bulb you have in your desk lamp.

Let's talk, instead, about why Bush hasn't bothered to find Osama bin Laden. Yes?

Ask Al Gore. His home in Tennessee consumes more electricity in one month than the average American home does in an entire year.

Your absolutely right. Closing the borders will automatically stop leaders such as Iran from shooting off nukes. Brilliant!!!

Maybe...but using compact florescents is less expensive. This also means that I burn less electricity, which means that fewer illegals are needed to shovel coal.
