Should you wipe the bowl before sitting in a public restroom?

Yes u should although it is highly unlikely to get any serious infections from a toilet seat. the other best thing to do is to avoid sitting on public toilet seats. it may sound silly but stooping over the seat is so much better than sitting and then worry about what diseases or infections persons who sat before u had.

Absolutely. It's probably silly and awkward, but maybe you don't even want to sit down and do the deed half down. Many wouldn't do it otherwise in public restrooms.
But trully, unless it is an emergency I'd advise to hold it till you get home.

If there's any obvious moisture there...otherwise, unless you're carrying around disposable clorox wipes or something, just wiping the seat isn't going to do anything to defend against germs....

I wipe the seat but not the bowl. I really wanna put up this poem where i work:

Don't sit on a public bowl, dude. Just don't do it. If there is absolutely no choice, line that sucker with tp.

i wipe the seat with antibacterial cleanser, put a seat cover down, and still try not to sit on the seat. i am a germ freak. i carry seat covers and germX everywhere.

I wipe it, put toilet paper on it then squat. Public restrooms are gross.

you should NEVER sit on the toilet of a public restroom. there's way to many reasons why...main one...it's nasty.

they have actually done studies saying that you get more germs using a keyboard than when you sit on a public toilet
