Has anybody noticed that people today seem to act very similar to news anchors off of CNN and CNBC and Fox? (Americans anyway)

Especially business people (CEOs and their wanna be clone copy CNBC financial channel news anchors styles)

I think people are being brainwashed by everything they see and hear in society today, Americans are just more vunerable to this because of their culture(yes, they have some culture!)
I don't mean to prophetise, but soon all of America (and the world for that matter) will look, sound and act like their onscreen counterparts.
It's a sad, sad way to be..........

I am the tool of the goverment and Industry to: I am the slime oozing out from your T.V set.

Frank Zappa

Thats right folks don't touch that dial.
It is not brainwashing, its the truth because they say it is and not many people have time to go and find out other wise, so they just accept it on the main and on the main is all they need till something else comes up,so the minority never gets the chance to convince the majority.Don't even watch it anymore because its so obvious, once you see it. What is the truth no one really. knows.

I think they try to scare you in order to sell their story and make it interesting. People are more cynical in the UK, i found myself watching fox and, aside from all the adverts (mostly for fox) i was stunned by the tone and difference that the anchors talk like the rest of the world doesnt exist.

The reason for the similarity is that business people will be able to relate to those who look, talk and dress like they do. You have it backward, actually. Also, news people are expected to look very professional---like we have command of something, and that explains the dress and mannerisms on our end. Would you take someone seriously who was dressed in blue jeans on television? I don't think you would.

And for the snide culture comment, some of us have cultures that are over 10,000 years old, based right here in what you call America. Yes, there are still Native American people, and I'm one of them.

I think you can only be brainwashed if you allow yourself to be.
