the perfect crime is the one where you don't get caught. you can't claim credit without admitting guilt and therefore leaving the door wide open for getting caught. BTW, what was this perfect crime?

you don't, the only way the perfect crime can be pulled off and you get away with it and have everyone know it was you is first you have to commit the crime. then be arrested for it, then be found not guilty then tell everyone it was really you.. but be careful you can still get screwed like OJ did...

Just tell a few close friends who will keep their mouths shut. Don't go telling a big mouth though, because then you are pretty much screwed. I had the same problem not too long ago, and I just told a few friends who thought it was hilarious and didn't say a word to anyone.

Even if it is past the statute of limitations you may still be prosecuted for civil rights or other legal traps. It may be possible to be sued in civil court too. Best bet, keep your mouth shut.
