SL is out for the season while D-Wade could be back for the playoffs.
dislocated knee is nastier without a doubt. Shoulder injury happens all the time... Remember Nash? He just overcame one...
While knee surgery are just bad for a basketball player career. Look at Baron Davis... He may never be able to play like he was before... as for SL, don't even expect to see him play next season.
I had a girl in my team who also had that kind of surgery and she sat a whole season... After that, it took her almost a year to recover entirely. After that, she had to stop playing after 2 or 3 seasons since it was getting worse the more she was playing.

No question it's the dislocated knee. I know they are saying 8 to 12 months but SL is going to need 2 years to recover and he may never be the same. The shoulder will be OK after surgery and a few months off.

NO question on earth it is SL injury. The injury that he has received is Career threatening. D-Wades injury is bad but not that bade. If we doesn;t have the surgery, and feels better, he can play in the playoffs. O ya, SL might all of next year to and he probably will never be the same.

Without a doubt Livingston's injury was worse, no contest, and no offense, but not even a good question. At best, he will be back for the 2008-09 season! And 50% chance that it's career ending, according to the handful of the NBA's sports therapists that have observed and analyzed this injury.

The knee by far: there's something so unsettling about seeing someone's knee bend the opposite way as is the natural movement for human beings. The last time I saw anything that gruesome was Willis McGahee's injury in the Miami-Ohio St. championship game several years ago when someone on Ohio St. tackled McGahee with his helmet geared at McGahee's knees, and bent them the other way, like his knees were plastic.

livingston's injury was described by the clippers' team doctor as the most serious knee injury someone can suffer from. he tore the ACL(anterior cruciate ligament), the PCL(posterior cruciate ligament, the MCL (medial collateral ligament) and the lateral meniscus. he also dislocated his kneecap. the ACL tear alone takes almost a year to rehabilitate and is not even a sure thing to be in the same condition as before the surgery. no doubt livingston has a long road ahead of him in terms of recovery
if only he had gone to duke and play for coach k..

It has to be the dislocate knee. Did you see Shaun Livingston afterwards? He will be out for I think 8 to 12 months, Wade could play if he elects to; Livingston cannot.

The knee. Shoulder injuries happen way more often. It was sad to see DWade being wheelchaired off the court. He needed to be a bigger man than that. He didn't hurt his legs or anything below the waist. A little dissapointing since I am a Dwade fan.

surgical technique isn't oftentimes something seen for a shoulder dislocation. perhaps it rather is a third degree acromioclavicular injury. the undertaking with interpreting those issues is that the reporting does not supply adequate documents to talk approximately, yet that doesn't seem to stop absolutely everyone.
