Pop is bad for you all around. It speeds up your heart so you probably do wear down more than others. If you are an "athlete" just drink water and sports drinks (poweraide, gatoaide, propell, ect...)

I'm guessing English isn't your first language, so I'm having trouble understanding your sentences.
you're lagging behind because you don't have enough heart to stay up. You could eat Crisco by the pound and Soda by the 2 liter if you had the heart to stay up you would.
HOWEVER, Why eat Crisco and drink Sodas? That crap is terrible for you. You might as well glue fat to your stomach because that's what drinking sodas do for you.
Use to be I couldn't even eat a sandwich or enjoy even a bowl of ice cream without a soda. I drank 8-10 sodas a day. Than I decided I wanted to lose weight. I read that the #1 and #2 causes of obsesity in America are white bread and soda drinks. I cut out both and have seen a slimmer more consistent waist line ever since.
Water is your friend, Sparkling water is fine too, however I would not drink carbonated water before or during workouts because it does open up the values of the heart and I don't think that's good for you. Unsweetened Ice Tea is fine. Coffee is ok in moderation also. Other than that cut out everything else if you want to succeed. Back when I did this by the way I was obessed with a six pack, no soda is a big help attaining that.

i don't think soft drinks are your problem unless you put down 4 or 5. the problem is that you train then you put all the fat you lost back into your body. so like that it is the soft drinks, but it could be any food. after practice, have a gatorate and a nice dinner with meat or protien.

You don't need the soda. Some of us react negatively with all that sugar. Might as well stay away from junk sweets too. Have some carbs the night before your practice. Bananas are also good because they load you up on potassium.

Try drinking Gatorade or another sports drink- they give you more energy and replenish your body of nutrients. Soft drinks are just sugar, water and chemicals.
