Thank you, yes, I know it was bought for 304,000 in 1968. Perhaps a jeweler could make a guess?

There is no known valuation on the Krupp diamond ring which Liz still wears. This has been kept extremely private. The only thing known about the value of the ring is what is was purchased at, $305,000.

Edit: There is no known current valuation available anywhere. Since she still wears the ring, I suspect the valuation is kept under lock and key. There has also been no guesses as to the current value of the ring anywhere and that includes the jeweler who bought her largest diamond the " Taylor-Burton Diamond"- Mouawad Diamond Company.
It would be hard to guess for a number of reasons.
Value is determined by the following:-
Carat weight (which we know)
Cut
Clarity and
Color

Without any idea if there have been any changes in all four since she bought it, there is no way to hazard a guess

nicely the main mandatory factors in determining a diamond's fee are coloration, decrease, and readability, not carat weight. you purchased it for $5,000 because of the fact the biggest diamond is readability SI1, meaning it has gentle inclusions that are seen to the bare eye. you may routinely not desire to purchase a diamond that has seen flaws, yet what's finished is finished, and purely you are able to comprehend what she needs. I surely have a chum with a 2 carat diamond. It has a super ol black streak via it, yet she would not care, because of the fact she have been given the two carat diamond she wanted. in my opinion i might particularly have a smaller diamond it fairly is close to suited. Tiffany's has diamonds that are a million carat that sell for $40,000 because of the fact they are so close to suited.

Many assume she wears it in public but many who own outragiously expensive gems have copies made much cheaper to wear in public in case of theft which is a wise thing to do and is hard to detect that it is a copy. The originals are kept under lock and key so don't assume they are worn by anyone of the "elite" (tongue in cheek).

I could care less. She is spoiled and not satisfied with any one particular husband. She
needs to grow up. I thought that in Velvet she was awesome, unspoiled, but life has changed that.
