The half-life of a radioactive element is 1-year. Therefore it will disintegrate into 1/2 in 1st year. In the 2nd year it will disintegrate into 1/4. Therefore the amount disintegrated in 2-years will be 3/4.

If the intensity is X curie then in one year it will be .5X curie.
At the end of the second year remaining intensity will be .25X curie only.
So .75X curie would have disintegrated.
It's intensity will never be Zero, but it will be very close to zero in few years.
