There are two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2. Both virus types can cause sores around the mouth (herpes labialis) and on the genitals (genital herpes). Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Cold sores sometimes called fever blisters, are groups of small blisters on the lip and around the mouth. The skin around the blisters is often red, swollen, and sore. The blisters may break open, leak a clear fluid, and then scab over after a few days. They usually heal in several days to 2 weeks.
The herpes simplex virus usually enters the body through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It is usually spread when a person touches a cold sore or touches infected fluid—such as from sharing eating utensils or razors, kissing an infected person, or touching that person's saliva. A parent who has a cold sore often spreads the infection to his or her child in this way. Cold sores can also be spread to other areas of the body.

There isn't much to go on in your question. I would like to have known your age and weight, and also how long you have had the problem. With such little information only a couple of general comments are possible.
You sound as if you might be talking about a neuropathic problem. This means a problem with damage to your peripheral nerves. The 2 commonest causes for this in UK are B12 deficiency and diabetes.
I would suggest that you went to your GP/Practise nurse, explained the problem and suggested you had a blood test. A fasted blood sugar, HBA1c and a B12/folate level would exclude both of these diagnoses.

Are you positive you don't have any illness? This can be a complication of untreated or poorly handled diabetes. I would go to my MD for a physical. You also may have sciatica. Are you having any low back pain or pain that radiates from your back and into your legs, esp. passed the knee? If so, go to your chiropractor. Our bodies give us signals when something is wrong, if we just learn to listen. I wouldn't waste time, go to the doctor. If you catch things early enough there will be less damage, regardless of the cause. Good luck!

They may need you to elevate them, to give them a break. This is fairly common.
The other thing is...the burning sensation may be from some nerve damage.
Try getting some inserts, such as Dr. Scholl's. Wear them for 2 weeks & see if this stops.
If not, go see a Podiatrist (foot specialist).
