The birth control sponges work alot better than a tampon!
Just make sure you change it every few hours,,4 at the most!

The water hinders your flow so either just jump in without a tampon and then once you get out quickly get a dark towel to wrap around your waist and then go and quickly get dried and change or wear a tampon when swimming - just make sure the string isn't hanging out the side of your suit.

Relax. Just wear a tampon. And make sure you change it every 4 to 5 hours. Wear one that accomodates heavy flows if you just started your period. There should be no probs. Oh, and dont wear a white or cream bikini. Trust me. It will look 'pink' down there after you come out of the pool to dry in the sun.

Tampon!! If you have never used one before go with a smaller size like lites or normal, avoid super size. Also go with a good brand like tampax pearl. Besides, tampons are so much cleaner and stress free when on your period. Hope you have fun!

Tampon, sweetie. Or just sit cute by the pool and don't get in the water. Don't let them push u in either. Stay seated maybe wit a sarong around u.

Hi Sassy
you can wear a tampon when you go swimming.
My best advice to you is go to your local chemist and tell them that you want to go swimming and they Will tell you the best ones to wear.
And don't forget to tuck the string well inside your suit.
Hope this helps you.
Good luck.

Yes you can still go swimming. USually when your in the water it slows your flow down. So you dont have to wear anything if you dont want too, but I always wear a tampon..good luck..

the only way you can swim when on your period is by wearing tampons. (make sure the string doesnt stick outta your swimsuit though!)

Your flow stops when you're in water. Just wear a tampon and you'll be fine.
