Or is it something else, like Doublethink? Liberals throw the phrase "Rich Republican" around but never hesitate to point out that republicans are "white trailer trash".

What is the problem with Liberals?

Around here you can't find a rich republican only rich democrates, most of whom are politicians and the trailer trash vote democrate.
North East Ohio is an example of what the Libs have planned for the whole country.
The jobs are gone and the taxes are high.

Believe me, there are "rich republicans" and "rich liberals." The fact of the matter is, most of the politicians that rise to the top because of their money aren't on our side. Many of them aren't interested in relating to your average person, and their money and political positions disconnect them from real people and real issues. You're not going to see any really good politicians rise to the top unless we have some campaign finance reform. Some of which would prevent the acceptance of large sums of money from corporations or interests groups. If corporations and interests groups want to support someone, then they should be trying to rise the national voting average past sixty percent.

Everybody is supposed to have the opportunity to run for president, but that's complete crap. Unless you have the resources to allocate 10 million or more, your chances of running a successful campaign are slim to nil.

Take our last two elections for example: Bush & Gore/Bush & Kerry. What kind of choice is that? No matter what party they're from, they're all part of a white upper class that cares about themselves. They're not looking out for the interests of the average person, because they're not the average person.

What does that tell you?

in general... both parties only have rich people in them... looking at the 2... you are really hard pressed to find the differences...

personally I think GW is more of a democrat than a republican.. the only thing I can find he did that is republicanish is the tax cuts.. other than that he grew gov 100 fold... let kennedy write the education bill... added a drug program to ssan that isnt working.. (or so someone told me, dont know for sure) did the whole air port screener thing that grew the gov even more...

but hey.. I dislike gov, in general both parties are liars a criminals... and never do what they say they will...if we really want to get control of the gov again. we need to make term limits... so noone can control the gov for more than 2 to 8 years.

stereotypes are funny. Although they vaguely reflect truisms amongst a group, they in no way represent the individuals of that group. I think they think Republicans are rich because Republicans don't support welfare and other social programs being pushed by the Democrats. They must think that GOP doesn't support them because they are so rich they don't need them - when in reality, they just don't support Socialism...

No kidding! I think if you did away with the Hollywood contributions to the Democratics (that ics part makes me chuckle) they would be bankrupt financially in a few years. We already know they are morally bankrupt and have been for years. :-)

oh, so they don't report me. The problem with liberals is they are wrong. Why is it called the left anyway? Shouldn't it just be called the wrong? I think I know it's because of the side of the aisle they sit on during the state of the union but i still prefer to call them the "wrong" instead of the left.

I love how John Edwards lectures us about there being "two Americas," one rich, and the other poor... Meanwhile he lives in a 22 million dollar house on 30 something acres of land in a very exclusive development in NC.
