It will be great for now. We can save money and lock up other players. I like Aaron Smith. Although he is 31 soon but I think he will be ok. It was a good sign

Oh come on Rob where is ANY proof they cheated in the 70's? Talk about a crybaby years later. Heck if you LISTENED to what Haslett REALLY said he said it was because they were BIGGER, not that they were CHEATING. They simply found the best players by size is what he meant. They were big and scary. Not they were cheating. As to the Doctor, HELLO he is a DOCTOR. They have no proof he was buying it in TEAM DOCTOR capacity. He has patients outside the team and it is very possiable that was why he was buying them. You haters need to GROW UP. As to Smith hey all for the deal depending on the price.

yes... locking up smith is a very good thing. he is a rock on the line along with casey hampton. however, i think if Tomlin switches to the 4-3 it could hurt Smith's overall production.

I think over all the multimillionare Rooneys should dish a liitle more out all around they must be the cheapest sons of guns in the league. I agree as long as we have money for Troy, if we lose him we will be in trouble.

I'm more happy about the fact that their team doctor got busted buying HGH. The Steelers cheated in the 70's using steroids, and they are cheating now with HGH.

Mike Webster, for one, is known to have taken steroids FOR A FACT. Haslett did NOT say that the Steelers were bigger. You need to get YOUR facts right before you attack me. Haslett was a part of that team and would know more about what when on in the locker room than YOU would. I'll take his word that they were cheaters. How many doctors do you know of that purchase $150,000 worth of any drug, much less one that, just by coincidence is suppose, is an undetectable performance-enhancing drug. Not to mention that the doc bought the drugs from a pharmacy that was selling steroids and other PED's illegally. So, don't tell me that it was all innocent. Grow up, get out of your little fantasy world, and realize that the only time the Steelers are ever good enough to win anything is when they cheat!

Yes he is a great defensive lineman. Who cares wut the stupid Browns fan says earlier, and to the Cowboys fan that said we blow, I beleive we beat the brokeback Cowboys in 2 of the 3 Super Bowls we played them in.
