A lot of men who are divorced or widowed wear their rings on thier other hand. You will never know just by that. Do a little more digging before taking the advice on here.

I'm pretty sure that wearing wedding ring on the right signified the person was "separated".Now that could mean they're not living together, but neither has filed for divorce or legal separation yet.
Or that one of the parties have filed, but divorce isn't finale.
Switching the ring to the other hand was a subtle way of saying "I'm becoming available" but the marriage was not legally dissolved yet, without having to verbalize it in a clumsy manner.

Could be.
Hard to say though.
Some guys wear it on the other hand just b/c they like the ring. No attachments or anything, they just didn't want to give the ring back and so they wear it. Sometimes women do that as well.
But if he had like a fresh pale spot where his ring use to be on his left hand, then I'd say he removed it before he went out and wears it so he won't lose it!!! Wife won't like that too much!
But the sure way is to ask him or someone he knows if he is really divorced or just being a cheat!
Hope this helped and hope all goes well!

I know men who have worn the wedding rings of their father or grandfather (who have passed on) on their right hand. I have also known gay men who have worn a wedding ring on their right hand. Why don't you ask about the ring? Keep the question light and quick. Also, look for a permanent indentation on the left ring finger. If you like him, go out with him, look for inconsistancies, and don't get too involved until he has you over to his home. When you are there, ask for a tour, act impressed and when you are in the bedroom, open the closet door and say "Wow! you have (great or little) closet space!". Scope quickly for any articles of women's clothes. Sounds a bit underhanded, but unfortunately there are a lot of sleazy people out there and you need to take care of yourself.

Even if he weren't wearing a ring I woud look for a tan line on his finger,I think it's just blatant to wear it outright!
I would tend to think divorced or not there must be something still lingering from the past relationship. Find out who his divorce lawyer is! Maybe that will answer your question of weather or not he is divorced.

No he wants to be with you even if it means that he will have to cheat for that. He could be divorced through if he was willing to take the ring off and prove to you that he is divorced.

Are you SURE it was his wedding ring? If it is, that can't mean anything good. He either isn't divorced, or he wants to keep wearing the ring coz he paid alot for it, or, he regrets the breakup. In short, he's married, cheap, or a whiner...lose him.

Most men do not continue to wear their wedding ring (on either hand) once they get divorced UNLESS they aren’t over the divorce. On the other hand, maybe it’s his (deceased) father’s ring or his (deceased) grandfather’s ring.

He may be in the process of getting a divorce, but if he even has his ring ON a finger at all.he isn't ready to move on and you can bet that she was the one who filed and not him.

In this day and age, I'd say he's married. Why would he wear a ring at all and scare off the pretty women?
