MTV has programmes?!

2007-02-28 00:30:37 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 2 0

MTV reality shows really don't seem 'real' to me, they purposely cause the drama to get people to watch them. Most people (not me) wish America could be like these 'reality' shows, but that just shows how Satan can take people over. MTV just makes kids wish they were skinny, rich, and famous; and not everyone can be that. Yet it seems they don't realize it.

I think that they represent a majority of people that think the same way the producers of MTV do, however i do not think that Americans are really that similar, however we are easily entertained.

no, even though they claim to be reality shows they are all staged (acting)

for example in the hills audrina doesn't really work at expo and she doesn't even socialize with lauren, heidi etc.... except for the show
brody was matched up with lauren for the show (the guy has tons of other women)
and lauren comes from a rich family---if it was real her apartment would be a lot nicer than it is on the show LOL

absolutely not mtv relies on drama to portray life in america.
real america has nothing to do with the shows on mtv.
they glamorize everything and everybody on their network

Dear God, I hope not. Unfortunately life immitates art and if enough young people see these shows their concept of reality can get shaped by it and then slowly those fictional or outrageously rediculous lives become immulated and eventually creep into our culture. It's a very slow poisoning of society.
