In my opinion, The Beatles are the best rock band, because they took rock music to a higher level.

The Fray. I have been loyal to this band for a couple years before they became big, they have some amazing music. They can help you through some bad times, with music like how to save a life, and of course the over publicized over my head cablecar. Also there isnt excessive cursing in this music, so rents can listen to it too. :)

Pink Floyd. They were far ahead of their time. Most of their work was self-taught & self-discovered. They did everything from 15 second songs to some songs reaching an hour. The most dynamic band ever.
