My 6 month old son has little red raised dots all over his body. They look like tiny little red pimples. There is no fever and it doesnt look like he is uncomfortable or trying to scratch. I asked his babysitter is she fed him anything different yesterday and she said no. He has a little stuffy nose right now, could that be just be part of his cold? Im gonna call the pediatrician when they open but I just wanted to see if this sounded familiar to anyone.

If the spots look like little blisters it could be chickenpox.

sounds like a heat rash
depending on the weather it could be a heat rash, can be caused from being in the sun, a hot car,or a hot room or even from being over dressed but without actually seeing them and knowing all the circumstances its hard to say if thats what it is but is likely

I wonder where the rash started. It could be heat rash or yeast. Yeast starts out with raised red bumps them it gets real red and warm to the touch. Some babies complain some don't. Please get the baby to the dr. just to know.
