They should have the right to find someone they will eventually hate and buy them a house, right?
Kind of put the brakes on this idea after they find out just how great married life is!

People who are so against gay marriage should be just as concerned about the divorce rate of hetero couples. Perhaps if they just left the gays alone and minded there own concerns, things might change. But thats the chrisitan right for ya, always sticking there noses where it doesn't belong, arrrrgh.

marriage is a religious ceremony and most religions denounce homosexuality. So if you are blatantly doing something the religion doesn't believe in how can you participate in something that religion does. That is why is should be called a civil union. It can have all the same benefits but not the religious connotation

LLOL. yes. But seriously, I think whats get the goat with most anti-gay biased people is the fact that it is so in your face now. With myself, I don't want much to do with 2 guys living together in harmony . I wouldnt want my impressionable kids to think that gay is the norm or the majority. If theywish to live in married bliss let them., but don't proclaim it to the heavens and have it enter my life. I don't get involved in my neighbours marriage and want to have no involvement in some ones gay marriage.

Where i live there are equal rights for everybody
We have legalised gay marriages with all the benefits and downsides as well
And that's the way it should be
Hell,we pay the same taxes and obey the same law,why then treated as outcasts?
Sky.

lol. Good point!

I have no problem with it. People don't wake up one morning and decide to be gay. That's just the way they are and they should have the same rights as everyone else.

there are always gonna be people who are against something that is going on but you cant let that get you down. if gay people want to get married i think they should be able to. blacks marry whites. indians marry thais. whats wrong with freely showin who you are. there are things that go against people and their religions, that is one but what about the people who dont eat pigs. are we gonna force them to. i think this is supposed to be a free country and as long as you dont go off and slice someones head off then you should be able to do what you want to do.

I believe Schwarzennager put it best when he said:

"I believe gay mowiage should be between a mon and a woomon"

Not everyone is against it but for the ones that are they just feel it goes against their moral or religeous belief and some are just for it.
