You should be able to run the laptop without the battery installed. In fact, if you rarely use the battery, it is recommended that you run the laptop without it, as it will extend the life of the battery.

it should be.
evry laptop must have sth insted of the battery (broken lost what ever) i 've been working on my laptop for about 5 monthes without a battery

Yeah it wll work, the batery is only there to use when you want to use it when your out because you wont be able to plug it in anywhere

It depends on the laptop. some will not, but you cannot be sure without trying it.
Why dont you just try it?
