That the basis of being conservative, they don't change, old ideology is the course. And really, what underling is going to contradict their superior, look what happen to Powell.

Painting with a pretty broad brush this morning aren't you, Lamplighter?
I'm a lifelong Republican, and there are definitely issues about which I disagree with the Bush administration, notably immigration control and fiscal policy. That being said, I still agree with the President's policies far more often than not.
You are correct that I am completely unable to comprehend some of the left's points-of-view. I have nothing but respect for one's right to dissent, but there's a difference between dissent and sedition. It's perfectly acceptable to proclaim one's opposition to the war from the rooftops. It's completely unacceptable to publicly call for a US defeat. It's completely acceptable to disagree vehemently with the VP, but unacceptable to express sorrow that he was not killed.

First, you are going to get ripped by republicans who find your views too "narrow-minded".
Second, the Dems can be just as guilty of this.
Third, there does seem to be an extreme reluctance to go against GOP thinking, even when it damages the party and the nation

Sorry, isn't that the pot calling the kettle black? You just have to love all the Dems running around trying to defend people like Gore when the Public Utility Commission of Tennessee provided he proof our Mr. Greens electric bills for a year. He consumed 20 times more electrical power in a year than the average home in the U.S. all while showing the pretense of being the environments friend! And you accuse Republicans of not being able to think? Give me a break bubba..........

I think you are very incorrect in your assessment of Republicans. I am very broad minded, I just process the information further than a liberal and come up with a different conclusion. I see the liberals as the short sighted tunnel visioned parrots.

They're the same as the Democrats. It was amazing how many people I knew that voted for John Kerry even though they didn't like him. America is in serious need of a 3rd Party Candidate, but Americans seem incapable of using their brains.

Typical liberal, stereotyping all Republicans. I can think and often I am unhappy with the policies of the Bush administration.

Well, the cool thing about having everybody think exactly
the same thing is that it makes other parties look
incredibly disorganized.
And of course, parties that look disorganized have
a hard time getting elected.

party. I am a Democrat" --Will Rogers
