I am a week late and just took another pregnancy test, and guess what? NEGATIVE!!! I know I would have tested positive by now. Is there anything else BESIDES stress that could be causing this???

I am not on birth control and my cycles shifted last year in october, so I dont think Im due for that again for a while. I know I ovulated and that was like 22 days ago.

Get a blood test...seems those drug store pregnancy tests aren't all that accurate.

Your cycle could be changing, and, as you have stated, it can be from stress. Also, have you started any new meds? Sometimes that could be the reason why, especially if they are birth-control pills.
In any event, it is a wise choice to see a doctor, because just like there are false positives, there are also false negatives....

That just happened to me this month.
I know I ovulated, I even had a few cramps around the time my period should have taken place....but nothing. It came about a week later. I chalk it up to lack of exercise for me; I always get problems if I don't exercise.
Have patience. Give it a bit more time. Not everyone is always on time with their periods.

Yes. Your body. We take our bodies for granted and expect them to perform like robots. Whilst the younger you are, the more regular your periods, don't expect them to clock in. Your body may have had a heavy time of it lately and is taking it's time catching up.
You should always do the test if you are unsure. And your doctor. But if the results are negative, don't worry. Your body catches up with you eventually!

Have you just started a new birth controll? If so it might be throwing your rythm out. Ive gone two week with out when i started my depo injections. If not see your doctor because those tests arnt 100% accurate.

If you work out excessively that would reduce your periods, but to be on the safe side go to the Dr's much easier and will definitely put your mind at rest.

Are you taking new birth control? It also can do with your thyroid. Your GYN can give the blood test for that.
I hope this helps!

Yes. Simply see a doctor. What's preventing you to do this anyway?
