I usually use TNT, until the unfortunate incident with the poodle. Blew half of him away and we were just left with poo.

Never played it, but it sounds really cool.
Perhaps you could try dry ice in 8oz bottles, surrounded by packing peanuts in a heavy cardboard box reinforced with strapping tape. That should reduce the danger, yet still make for some pants-soiling moments.

We like to use TNT but we are quite old fashioned. My younger friends often use plastic explosives and even make thier own from fertiliser...happy banging
