listen, im not one of these to bang onabout human rights n stuff but i went out for a meal yesterday n the man said there was no " smoking " not even @ the bar, whilst i accept for the majority this is great, but i smoke and seeing that its not illegal and that i pay loadsa tax on my fags isnt this a breach of my human rights?? its like because i smoke im being discriminated against. and ur not gonna be allowed to smoke in pubs soon!!!! anyone agree???

ives already said i dont blame the " non smokers " for kicking up a fuss, i would do the same, i just think that if im a smoker how comes i cant smoke in public places???

I Agree as a non smoker I wouldn't go anywhere that allows smoking but that's my choice if people want to smoke anywhere i see no problem they should have freedom to smoke if they wish

Even though I gave up smoking last year I do agree with you, the smoking ban doesn't come into effect until July 1st in this country, I have been in several bars and restaurants myself lately were a smoking ban has already been put in place, basically I think its pretty bad that there doing it well before the cut off time and is it any wonder people are staying away from those establishments already.

I live in Florida where the smoking ban has been in effect for a few years. Never been a problem for me to just step outside. A lot of people have asthma and can't be around the smoke, so I can respect that.

I agree whole-heartedly, and I've often wondered why no smoker has taken the Government to court!
I expect you'll have comments from people who will accuse you of "killing" them, but who's to say they won't get hit by a bus today?

I disagree with you, what about the human rights of non-smokers to be able to breathe clean air and not recycled *** air from your lungs.
