Can anyone help, I,ve been trying to think of the name of a film, where there are hundreds in a Prisoner of War Camp, I,m sure Its a one worded title and maybe stars with "S", at the end of the film you see everyone running to freedom.
I know this isn,t much to go on but if anybody has any idea, it would be greatly appreciated as it is driving me nuts!

Sorbavor....or something like that...
Concentration camp. NOT Prisoner of War.
They had german officers and Italian guards.
They waited until all the officers were out of the way..then attacked the guards and broke out of the camp and ran across a mine field.
I remember one guy made it to the USA only to be killed in anti semetic riots.
It was a true story.

Which war? There was Andersonville about the war between the states.
