How did her utility bill get so high? Most utility companies will not let a bill get up that high without shutting you off. Many cities have the HEAP program for low income people and it helps you pay the bill call her utility company now and they can point you in the right direction to take care of that bill.

You need to call the power company that is totally outrageous. Most power companies help low income and the elderly with their bills and I don't know what she is heating her home with but even in CA that needs to be looked into.. I hope that is for the year and not a month!

Get her to mix her gin and tonic by hand instead of the blender.
Tell her you already know about bob the blow-up buddy and to keep it inflated .so she dont need to use the electric pump every nite .
swap the electronic device for a rubber one , switch off the vibrating bed occaisionally (it`s for therapy ,not entertainment) and charge her friends for the use of it .
Tell her that bob doesnt like OPRA so she can leave the TV off when she goes to bingo and the pink rinse parlour .
