dont panic, rising blood pressure can be a complication, but it could simply be related to your bladder infection and will resolve itself once that is cleared up, worst case, your doctor will have to monitor you and the baby more closely throughout the remainder of your pregnancy, good luck at the docs !

Don't panic. It is an area of concern but nothing too threatning. Your doctor will probably perscribe an antibiotic for the infection and will monitor your blood pressure. The blood pressure is probably the greater area of concern because it can signal the onset of pre-eclampsia. I'm sure your doctor will monitor you for that. The other thing is your blood pressure may have been high because you were nervous and worried. It may be back to normal now. Either way, your doctor will make sure you're taken care of. Don't be afraid to ask them questions about your condition to be sure you fully understand the impact your diagnosis will have on the pregnancy.

i have never heard of a bladder infection being related to your blood pressure...what may be occurring is that you are stressed out because of the bladder infection and that increased stress level has made you hypertensive...
next...relax...if you blood pressure were that high, they would have scheduled for an emergent c-section
