Ok so, my husband went out and bought me a new computer. I hooked it up to his network and personalized everything. It was doing really well until around the 3rd day, then it started getting slower and slower. As this was happening, HIS computer started going haywire with pop up ads, being slow and so forth. First guess is that when you hooked up to the network for some reason the fiewall was turned off. I would make sure you turned it back on and get a really good virus and spyware program, I like spy sweeper.

get google toobar to stop popups and get a good anti malware program like AVG
