I have an '06 LS,the dealer told me that the only difference is the LT has power locks and windows, which to me is a pain in the butt when something goes wrong. I had a car before with power everything and got locked out of it when there was a problem.
And was expensive to fix.
Take them for a drive and make up your own mind. I personally love mine.

I own a shop, and what I would do is this. Test drive both of them, and which ever one is the fastest, consider purchasing it. They are basically the same vehicle, except the bells and whistles. The one that is the fastest, is the one that runs the best, and will probably get the best gas mileage. People get rid of a vehicle for a reason usually, and don't buy into the little old school teacher owned the car lie. Take the car to a reliable mechanic, and have him/her look it over, and tell you if its a good buy or not. A lot can be told about a car from underneath, and a sharp mechanic can usually find all the bad stuff that you would never think to look for.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!

The LS is the "bare bones version". There is LT1 and LT2 which both come with more stanrdard features "LT2 is better of the two". With the LT you get cruise control, power seats, power windows....that kinda stuff. If the price and mileage is the same the LT is the better deal. I would also find out if they are previous rentals. I work in the industry and newer vehicles with high miles like that are usually previous rentals. People dont always treat rental cars very nicely and while it may look pretty it may not be the best maintained vehicle. Some rental companies are notorious for not properly maintaining their cars. I would ask the dealer about it before you purchase and ask to see the service record. As long as all the services were done you should be ok.

LS means standard equipment and has nothing additional. LS comes with Manual locks, Windows, Seats, and Mirrors. If you get an LT everything is power. For the same proce I would go with the LT.

No so sure but one may have more optional equipment already added to the interior... as for the other may be a "special package" only missing some amenities than the other...
Best wishes, make sure you get this question answered by your sales person, they should show and tell you exactly.
