Can the mucous plug be a slimy green color?
I'm on my 34 week and this morning, after i wiped, there was a slimy green like substance on the paper. Could this be part of the mucous plug?

You should call your doctor. The mucus plug is normally pinkish-brown, and a little bloody. Some woman have greenish-yellow mucus plus. Also some woman have discharge that is like green snot. All in all call your doctor sometimes green means infection.

it could be a lot of things. Yes it could be the mucus plus. Either way you need to have a talk to your doctor as soon as poss. You dont know what it is and you are worried.
Even if they say it is nothing then at least you know. It should not really be green. Brown, pink or red i think is mucus plug. But please go check.

yes it could, and you should go to the doctor straight away, it could be a sign of your cervix softening, my mucous plug came away at 25 weeks, and then i had strict bedrest for 5 weeks with my daughter being born 10 weeks premature, she was healthy and has no health issues but u need to have this seen to straight away so your doctor can decide if the situation needs to be managed

Hmmmmmmmmm, I have never heard of it being GREEN. Usually green is associated with infection, I thought. Don't bather getting alarmed though...i might be totally uninformed on this one. Call your doc this morning and report what is going on. he or she will advise you correctly. Good luck Enjoy the little one. :)

no, mucus plugs are usually yellow in colour...+ you would have had a gush of fluid behind it signalling that your H2O broke...
