Don't worry how mad he gets, that is not the right thing to do, at 11 years old, you have so much in front of you, tell him you have to concentrate on school right now, so you can prepare for your future, and that education is your key, to life!

Oh honey, please don't go with him. Just tell him that you can't go with him because you are worried about putting yourselves in danger. He may be mad at you at first but then he'll come around and realise that you did the right thing. If he insists that he going to go with or without you, to keep him safe it would be a good idea to tell his parents....you don't even have to let them know that it was you that told, maybe you could phone in an anonymously or let someone at school know and tell them that you don't want him or his parents to know who told. This way at least they could keep a closer eye on him. If he is wanting to run away because of some sort of abuse there are places you and he can call that will help him. The first place to call would be the police. You or he could even request that the police come to the school to talk to him . Then they would get children's services involved and they would go talk to his parents, if they did see signs of abuse he would not have to go back there, the police would take him someplace safe. Please don't go with him , think about doing something for him instead.

Tell him you are not going and leave it at that. You made up your own mind and know it would be crazy to run away at 11 years old. Try to get him interested in something else or just drop the subject. Be strong! No way do you want to miss out on a good education!

well first u gotta think, why do u wanna run away? if your just doing it cuz your friend wants to, dont do it, stop thinking about it. if you actually want to, seriously, still don't do it, but you probably have some family issues or something... so talk to a school counselor or something.
if your friend doesnt like you just cuz you wont run away with him if you dont want to, hes probably not the kinda guy you want as a friend anyway.

Just tell him the truth, you just don't feel like running away.
I don't think it'll do you any good to go somewhere when you're in doubts.
If he's a true friend he has to understand it.
