I was wondering if you would only have a birthday every 4 years, and when you look twelve, you are actually 3? Or would you just have to celeberate on the 1 of March or somthing???

They celebrate each year. Even if the date Februrary 29 comes around only once each four years, still, 365 days will have passed. The point is that a year is 365 days, 5 hours, 14 (or so) minutes. It's the year passed that is being celebrated, and not the exact date.

it has long been the practice of parents to celebrate the leap year child's (feb 29) birthday on feb 28 or mar 1, so as to not make the child feel left out or to feel overly different--as the child grows into adulthood, they oft times revert back to the leap year birthday--but to answer your question more simply, yes, you would only have a birthday every 4 years; after all, feb 29 would be your birthday and not any other day

U should know that u complete a year of ur life not at ur birthdate but at the day before it....for example if u wew born on 1st of january then u will complete a year on 31 December because u finished 365 day...
so I guess they should celebrate on 28 march.

You biologically only have a birthday once every 4 years, but you physically grow normally.

I celebrate on the 28th. When I asked my folks why over the 1st, they said it was to keep the same month and birthstone. Makes sense to me, I guess :) I get 1 year older every year...

Technically, yes, but most people just celebrate on the 28th or March 1st.
