I'm betting, unless more Bushes get in, he'll be the worst in the next 100 years as well.

I believe by bringing into being the Patriot Act and the Military Commissions Act, that he has joined the ranks of John Adams - Alien and Sedition Act - Used to jail newspaper editors, Woodrow Wilson - Espionage Act - Used to imprison war protesters, Franklin Delano Roosevelt - Executive Order 9066 - used to imprison American Citizens of Japanese descent.

George W. Bush may not be the worst, but he's right up there in the ranks. He is an enemy to the Constitution and the American people and now has the power to, arrest me as an unlawful enemy combatant, strip me of my citizenship, and have me shot for typing what you just read.

As a Patriot I was raised to believe the most noble thing I could do would be to take a bullet for the President, but in my dissent of his actions, I may just take one from him instead.

God Bless America!
Indict and Prosecute Bush for his Crimes!
Repeal the Patriot and Military Commissions Acts!

The worst President in the history of the United States of America is William Jefferon Clinton who served from January 1993 to January 2001. He is the Worst President Ever because HE FAILED to keep America safe from Harm and Evil and he was the BIGGEST LIAR in American History during the 1990's.

Many asked the same of Abraham Lincoln. Every wartime president has made huge mistakes usually ending thousands of American lives. This is a fact of history and a bi-product of the uncertainties of war.
Invading Iraq was the most logical step in overthrowing the Iranian government whilst losing the least American soldiers.
I believe one of the objectives was to put so much pressure on the Iranian extremist government that they will go bankrupt before they can actually get a nuclear weapon.
Their mostly pro-western peoples will be dissatisfied to say it mildly and overthrow the current extremist.
Let's face it the Sha was the worst as far as the Iranians felt and they have "settled" for an extremist government that has improved living standards for them. If standards drop with their economy teetering on the brink of bankruptsy do not be suprised if another pro-western government emerges with a military coup.

Afghanistan to their east and Iraq on the west. One point of the axis of evil is surrounded and under immense pressure to attain a nuclear power they cannot afford to gain in such a short period of time. Yet it is their only avenue to keep their extremist terrorist sponsoring government intact. Therefore they hope for the best with Achmidinahjhad's statements "We are full steam ahead with our nuclear proliferation." They realize attaining nuclear power is their only hope. That is why they will NOT budge whether discussions are unilateral or multi lateral. This will only buy them time. A commodity that they have very little of.

I have been voting for American Presidents since I first voted for Ike back in the mid fifties and - YES, George W. Bush is the worst U.S. President I have been fortunate enough to vote against - TWICE!

The worst there's ever been. The worst there ever will be.

I've seen quite a few Presidents come and go in my life, and George Bush isn't fit to do their laundry. You could have picked some guy off the street at random and that person would have been a better President.

He has, in many ways, been a disappointment to me. But he is far from the worst we have had even in recent history. As governor of Texas he was very popular and well liked even by the democrats. This was due to his gentlemanly manner of always being friendly and personable to his opponents and accommodating them as much as he could while still staying with his own agenda.

I fault him for failing to realize that those tactics do not work in that vicious War Zone known as Washington D.C. To this day he stands there saying whatever positive things he can about the people who call him horrible names, question his intelligence, his honor, his integrity and even attack his family. I am glad we went to war with Iraq but I am disappointed with the handling of it. I am disappointed with his position on illegal immigration and the borders.

That said, I still think he is a fine gentleman. What he is not is conservative enough for me. He stands somewhere between his father's moderatism and Regan's conservatism. In this dangerous world at this dangerous time that has proven to be inadequate.

However, for his fortitude in going after the terrorists he will be seen as heroic in the history books. For that I applaude him.

Absolutely the worst. Nixon's blunder with Watergate was political, Carter's driving up mortgage rates to 18% wasn't fun but it didn't kill over 3,000 people in a useless war. JFK was sleeping with a woman who was also sleeping with a Mafia Don (Judith Exner and Sam Giaconni) and also Marilyn Monroe and JFK still got a higher approval rating than Bush.

The answer is no. I don't agree with much of what Mr. Bush has done as President, but the life of the average American is not bad and has not become noticeably worse since he has become President. In your personal opinion you may see him as such, but history will not support your position in the end. There have been many periods in the history of the country where life has been much worse for average Americans. Most recently during the Carter administration. History will not remember George Bush as the best President, but it also will not remember him as the worst either. History deals with factual events and does not take into account political rhetoric or sentiment of the times in making it determinations and representations of those facts. Contrary to how much the Bush haters hope it will.
