Who are your favourite British bands?

I like Blur, MUSE, Oasis, The Clash, Hard-Fi, Snow Patrol, Gorillaz (if they count), Coldplay, Keane, The Beatles, Franz Ferdinand, Jimi Hendrix and a lot more.

Most of the better Rock and Roll bands from the 70's are British so thats hard to narrow. For me Deep Purple, The Who, Led Zepplin, and Jethro Tull. The Beatles are so untouchable in this catagory that it is really hard to compare them with anyone else!

In my opinion-the best music in the world comes from British bands-Zeppelin,Pink Floyd,Beatles,Rolling Stones and the Who I know there are tons more.

I don't know if they were/are considered British or Scottish but in my youth I really liked the Bay City Rollers. Long time ago, I know.

Um....well, I like the Beatles of course but that's a pretty dumb answer. I like James Blunt but he's just one guy and not a band so he doesn't count.
