OUT!!!!
Be proud of your faith. If anyone is offended by it, they are offended, not you. If they don't ask, they'll never find out & you won't have to put up with their small mindedness.
I wear two at all times. One is plain & about 1.5cm across & is for "day wear", the other about 3cm & has the Triple Moon & Goddess on it. Oh & I've got one tattooed at the top of my arm.
Be Proud. Be Pagan

I can't see anything wrong with that pentacle. Nice and simple.
As for whether it is more appropriate to wear your pentacle inside or out, I think it depends on the circumstances. Even though we are protected by religious tolerance laws, there is still a lot of prejudice concerning Pagans. Many people see us as odd or deluded. The pentacle is more recognisable to laypeople as a satanic symbol. You could invite a lot of difficulty if you display your faith to one and all. I do not wear any overtly pagan jewellery at work. I'm a teacher and some parents are still picky about the kind of person they want to teach their kids. You can't educate every person you meet. Some times it is wiser to keep your beliefs to yourself. We carry the Gods' love with us all the time. Symbols are nice to have, but should never be regarded as essential. Wear your pentacle out if it makes you happy, but don't do it to wave the flag.

Nice Pentacle. Mine is about the same size, but not as shinny as the one portrayed in the photograph.
Wear it outside your shirt if it is safe for you to do so. Remember that what's in your heart what counts.
By the way, if you live in a tough city, you may want to wear it inside to prevent attracting the attention of thieves.

No it is not wrong. Wear what you want, if you want, when you want.
I used to be paranoid abot keeping mine tucked inside my shirt because I didn't want people to pre-judge me or think I was weird - now I don't care either way - infact when it is on show, it has started some interesting conversations with some likeminded people which would never have happened if they hadn't seen it. Mine is only about 1.cm wide though - I prefer things to be dainty!

People will give you a lot of trouble 'cos there is a lot of misunderstanding about the pentacle (which is a protective charm).
You could wear a necklace of the triple moon as a symbol of Wicca if you want an alternative.

Some think that if it is against the skin it is more powerful so that is where I wear mine. It is safer as well. I wish people would progress to the point that we all could just simply be what we are and not worry about others who like to persecuate those of us who don't believe the same as they do. Life would be so much better. Size doesn't matter.

I'm assuming your out of the broom closet. So do what you want. I live in redneck rural area and get nasty looks sometimes but no comments so far. For the most part I get those sly little knowing smiles from people. It makes it allot easier to find people with similar interest. Unless where you live is a lynch mob waiting to happen go for it.

It's best worn inside an orange shirt with thin diagonal green stripes, pink flowery models on the background and an electric blue lacy stripe at the neck (recommendation of the AEPFM - Association of Experts in Pentacle Fashion and Magic - for the Spring 2007 season).

If you are wearing it as jewelry then its worn in or out
and as you please
but if you are wearing it for its protection then
by tradition
all Protective symbols should be worn close to the skin
as tradition has it
that if danger threatens the symbol will begin to
feel warm. and so the the wearer is alerted to be aware of trouble.
in other words if worn away from the skin the wearer won't feel
the warming/warning sensation.

it depends on how many comments you want to generate. If you wear a large pendant (of anything, doesn't have to be a pent) you will get comments. If you want to wear a large pent and not get so many comments, wear it under your shirt. If you want to wear something outside your shirt, wear a smaller pent. It just depends on what kind of reaction you want and are ready for.
I wear a small pent ring, a triske ring with dragons, and a trip moon pendant under my shirt with other power pendants. If someone asks, I tell, but I don't go around shoving it in their faces either.
